Über Hubsch
Hübsch stellt Nachhaltigkeit in den Mittelpunkt seiner Design- und Produktionsphilosophie und legt dabei großen Wert auf die Verwendung verantwortungsvoller und rückverfolgbarer Materialien. Holz spielt in vielen Hübsch-Designs eine zentrale Rolle, weshalb die Marke sich verpflichtet hat, es umweltbewusst zu beschaffen.
Seit 2020 stellt Hübsch seine Holzprodukte aktiv auf FSC®-zertifiziertes Holz um, um sicherzustellen, dass sowohl neue Designs als auch reproduzierte Kollektionen aus verantwortungsvoll bewirtschafteten Wäldern stammen. Das langfristige Ziel ist es, den gesamten Holzbestand schrittweise ausschließlich auf zertifizierte Quellen umzustellen, um die Biodiversität, eine ethische Forstwirtschaft und eine umweltfreundliche Produktion zu unterstützen.
Neben der verantwortungsvollen Holzbeschaffung legt Hübsch ebenso großen Wert auf die Sicherheit und Nachhaltigkeit seiner Textilprodukte. Aus einer human-ökologischen Perspektive priorisiert die Marke Materialien, die sowohl für Menschen als auch für die Umwelt unbedenklich sind.
Seit 2020 erhöht Hübsch den Einsatz von Textilien, die mit STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® zertifiziert sind, mit dem Ziel, bis 2025 eine vollständige Zertifizierung aller Textilprodukte zu erreichen. Diese Zertifizierung garantiert, dass Stoffe auf Schadstoffe getestet sind und frei von toxischen oder allergenen Bestandteilen, wodurch hohe Sicherheitsstandards ohne Kompromisse bei Design oder Komfort gewährleistet werden.
Über formale Zertifizierungen hinaus legt Hübsch Wert auf verantwortungsbewusstes Design durch Langlebigkeit, Materialausgewogenheit und durchdachte Produktionsentscheidungen. Die Produkte werden mit Blick auf Haltbarkeit und zeitlose Ästhetik geschaffen, um eine langfristige Nutzung statt kurzlebiger Trends zu fördern.
Durch die Kombination sorgfältig ausgewählter Materialien, funktionalem Design und kontrollierten Produktionsmengen möchte Hübsch Abfall und Umweltbelastung reduzieren und gleichzeitig Beleuchtungs- und Einrichtungsstücke anbieten, die über viele Jahre relevant und nutzbar bleiben.
