Charles Kalpakian
Charles Kalpakian is a French-Lebanese designer whose work is defined by the meeting of cultural heritage, contemporary design and architectural geometry. Born in Beirut in 1982, he developed a distinctive visual language inspired by his French and Lebanese roots, decorative arts and urban culture. His creations are recognised for their sharp, sculptural lines that often evoke the fluidity of calligraphic gestures.
Working across furniture, lighting and collectible design, Kalpakian explores the relationship between form, perception and space. His projects balance artistic expression with functional precision, reinterpreting traditional motifs through a contemporary lens while celebrating craftsmanship, materiality and innovation. Collaborating with leading international brands, he creates timeless pieces that bring sculptural character and refined individuality to modern interiors.
