Robert Dabi
Robert Dabi is a German designer based near Nuremberg, Bavaria, with a diverse background in interdisciplinary design. Since beginning his creative career in 2002, he has gained experience in illustration, graphic design, interaction design, and photography. He also worked as a media designer for the region's largest tech start-up incubator. In 2010, Dabi co-founded a watch brand with friends in Hong Kong, creating products that were sold worldwide, including at the MoMA Design Store and Dezeen Watch Store. His curiosity led him to explore lighting design, a field he has always been passionate about. With an affinity for interior design, he experiments with various materials and concepts to create unique lighting objects. His first published lamp design won the Platinum A' Design Award in 2020.
